This is a story from my childhood, and one I will never forget ! I was 9 years old at the time and it took place on a hot dry summer afternoon my folks and I we at my grandfathers house visiting as we did most weekends. My dad and grand father were off working on the house doing some repairs. My only playmate at that time was my cousin Blair who was 4 or 5 years old. Anyway we were outside playing with his plastic matchbox cars. I can see the house next where we playing in the sand. It was empty
I will never be famous but we do have a small claim to fame . My husband is a first cousin to the late Glenn Ford . Glenn'f Father and Ron's Father were brothers . It is amazing how the Ford men resemble each other . First picture is Glenn, second picture is my husband Ron and his brother Cam. Glenn was atleast 30 years older than Ron so we did not get to meet him. However some of our other cousins who were contemporaries of Glenn have met him and have had him in their homes. Glenn ha
I was looking at stuff on ths Pet Supply web site and I came across this. A Puppy Stroller, and I thought what will they think of next. All puppies need exercise no matter how small they are. I have a little Yorkie- chihauhua mix , called a Yorkie-wa-wa. If I don't give her daily walks she will get uptight and nervous. She needs a way to get rid of her excess energy. I guess puppies do get tired after a very long walk -so if you have lots of money to burn you might consider this .
One of Murphy's laws applied to me lately. I ordered an AccuQuilt® GO! Fabric Cutter from Jo-Anns.com for the sale price of $299.99. On the Accuquilt website it sells for $349.00 . So I thought great I am saving $50.00 so I ordered and it came. Wouldn't you know it I found it on Amazon.com for $227.99 . The exact same thing . That really rots my socks. Thankfully most all the dies that you have buy extra are also sold on Amazon.com . So I will be adding them to my wish list !
