About Me

I am a life-long observer or the world. I have been in many positions, over a large amount of time, and have never, except for one short period of my life, held only one job. At full-time positions, including time in the military, I managed to hold part-time employments, so I have managed to have many careers of all types. I have been everything from a small community peace officer, to a chaplains assistant, from a construction engineer to a clerk. Much of my life I was told I was inadequate and unable to learn, and I have overcome that to become a somewhat educated in consulting. I have been told I am gifted as a psychologist, and can only say I feel I have been called to help people. I worked until 2001, when I was officially retired from law enforcement due to many illnesses. I am attempting to help as many as possible in the time I have left. I am not as smart as some think, however I am more intelligent than others believe. I am just a man who wants to help others, and leave something for my family. I enjoy psychology and philosophy, and have used both for many years in my various careers, both as an employee helping friends, and as a supervisor, boss, and business owner helping employees. Lets learn and little something and have some fun on the way. Thanks everybody.

Mash, Mister Roberts, South Pacific, The Great Santini, and Dragnet, both versions.

Favorite Music

I listen to both kinds, country and western, lol. But seriously, I am that guy, who rides through town listening to Hank Williams, Johnny Horton, Patsy Cline, or a host of other legends. I do not enjoy many of the modern music crazes, such as breaking guitars on stages, or spraying water on the audience. I prefer more vintage music to the new kids and am extremely outspoken on the subject of what constitutes good music. I have been known to be seen enjoying a Glenn Miller or Tommy Dorsey sound, and then switching back to Hank Williams, and on to Whitesnake or the Brothers Doobie or Group Abba. I assume one would call me eclectic.

Favorite TV Shows

Of all time: MASH, Dragnet, Adam-12, Sanford and Son, and more recently House and NCIS.

Interests

Collecting coins, stamps, and nearly anything interesting. Music and television are major interests, and well as great literature. I enjoy nearly anything fun. Life is short, so slide on the ice!

Other

I am, in a nutshell, a collector of the odd and unusual. I like pottery, glass, miniatures, die cast, and too many others to list. I am not the best, nor am I the worst. Lets have a good time, and hopefully learn a little along the way.
