Last shot of the evening. I was struck here by the complete lack of people in the theater distric to the huge crowds on Fifth Avenue. I had a mind to photograph the big Christmas store windows on Fifth Avenue the other day and walked all the way up town from Chelsea to do so. However, as I walked up Fifth Avenue, I noticed that the farther uptown I got the more people were on the street. It became quite crowded and me being rather paranoid about being around so many people in the pandemic, I turned off of Fifth and headed back home. Walking west, I hit 6th Avenue and although there was a good number of folks around it wasn’t as bad as Fifth so I quickly grabbed a few shots and then completed my 4.5 miles round trip back home. Here’s a few blurry shots taken with that Laowa 11 mm manual lens again. I put the camera on Auto ISO and it decided to over expose everything so trying to get the highlights under control and getting rid of the noise from ISO 128000 makes these less than perfect to say the least but here ya go anyway, they are quite colorful. #newyorkcity #christmastime #holidaysinnewyorkcity #fifthavenue #headinguptown #empirestatebuilding #nightphotography #handheld #11mmlens #chrislordnyc #chrislord #pixielatedpixels #creativeimagery #nycphotographer #artphotography #holidaycolors #city_captures #city_colors #NYC #newyork_feelings #newyork_ig #nyc_captures #addicted_to_nights #artistry_flair #myadoptedcity #ilovenewyorkcity #streetsofnewyork #streetsshots — view on Instagram
