Thanks Deb. There are a lot of similarities between the Carson Range of the Eastern Sierras and your San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff. Both of then are also similar to the Collegiate Peaks I grew up with in Colorado (yet both the AZ & NV ranges are dwarfed by CO's 14'ers! (-;)

Thanks Marilyn. Hard to capture this scene with a digital camera, it really is much brighter lit than it appears in the pic. On a clear full moon night in the High Sierra or the Rockies you can sit outside and read a book by the light of the moon ... though I don't recommend it on a night like this - it was only 3 ° F and my shutter finger almost froze off! (-;
