Today we have a very special activity. Every year we sell marigolds from one of our most beloved vendors: Gloria. She just turned 78 last month and still grows and cultivates her beautiful flowers in her farm. She’s the strongest, sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Gloria as most farmers do, faces huge challenges, from lack of water, climate changes and low income due people paying the bare minimum for her products. Every year we make this special sale where Gloria gets to make 3 times more than what she makes at the flower market. This is a huge relieve and allows she and her family to get some extra money for the Hollidays. If you are in Mexico City or have friends here, come to buy some marigolds today from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Cuautla 58, Condesa. In case we need to clarify this, 100% of the money goes to Gloria, we volunteer for the sale and @grandes_vinedos allow us to use their office for free to deliver the flowers.
