The "New Expressions" exhibition by ArtTHENA! presents work created since the start of the global pandemic. While everyone has been affected in some way or another, artists in particular have found themselves in the unique position of reflecting the crisis through their art practice. For some creatives, the pandemic, with its many ramifications and consequences, has changed their approach to their work profoundly and significantly, while other artists have experienced it as a time to become more deeply engaged with their existing pre-pandemic methods, techniques, and messages. Each ArtThena! artist creates with a unique approach and a distinctive style, process and philosophy. The exhibition will run from December 1st through December 30th, 2021. The artists will host a reception on December 3rd, from 7-9 pm at WHAM-Art.
