emp ave helpdesk nonexistent don’t waste your time filling out help/support tickets or submitting feedback through the idiotic emp ave helpdesk (they call it zendesk, but apparently these idiots have never seen a helpdesk so they can’t “be” one either …) they never respond with anything other than their crappy canned auto-spam email. emp ave’s moronic email begins with their boilerplate excuse “due to the large volume of requests it may be a few days before we are able to respond t

As for pet peeves on social sites … I can just ignore the “quote-posters” of FB and tweeter … BUT I can’t ignore the Media-Thieves!!! Since a recent Emp Ave mission asked what folks SM Pet Peeves are … I will point out that several of EAv’s high rolling supposed Social Media guru’s (self-proclaimed for sure!) are nothing but content thieves! They fill their facebook, G+, an blogs with photos they steal from other people and then take credit for the images and beg and pay peeps to

basket lighthouse tomato . I took the weekend off from blogging.   It was bright and sunny and warm and I was reminded of an old saying that summer arrives just after fourth of July here in the Northwest.   This morning it seems again cool and …

Macro.   Seems like a zillion years ago,  macros were what serious computer people did.   A macro was a pre-recorded routine you could enter into your computer to take care of repetitive tasks.  As I recall they didn’t always work that well.   And then after a time they were supplanted by user programming interfaces.   None of which much explains any of today’s three macro words. via Macrocyte Macrosomia Macroglossia .

some of the totally stupid things people do to be noticed on social media … (obviously in “my” opinion) ok first off, I am a big fan and somewhat large player in SM no! not the old-fashioned tie-me-up/tie-you-down kind of S&M! you know, the new SM – social media!! (though come to think of it … there’s a fair amount of flagellation – self and otherwise – involved in both forms of SM …) … anyways … back to the social media, there are some forms, types, app-for-that, etc

Dups your game is terribly broken! Your “help-desk” is helpless and does NOT even try to help members!! And if you don’t want members reminding you of these short-comings – you need to fix the issues!!!

to get the week off to a rip roaring riotous start … I tossed bananas all over Impotent Alley ..er.. Avenue! I invested 1,349,907.78e in my active shareholders! Enjoy the fruits of success!!! (-;

… the outbreak of taking a break / refunds  on emp ave is becoming an epidemic! another one bites the dust yes, another member with valued shares and dependable dividends shuttered their account overnight. these account closures have been happening at an increasing rate over the past two weeks. in total i have been forced to redistribute about 20% of my invested eaves, eaves that were previously nestled into shares returning excellent dividends. so now I must again search for a new nest for

oooh…so many are quitting… trying to sort out all this: “Taking a Break” refunds …several of them were good Div producers and now i need to replace them in my portfolio…

from my experience and observations worthless-press primary goal is to provide the most convoluted and non-intuitive user interface in the blogosphere … they have excelled and more than met this goal … by the way wp, that is not a compliment d-; the missing blog-post-draft copy was finally located, retrieved, and the finished post published. but of course, not without other irritating problems popping up in the final editing! between the time the original draft was saved (and hidden by wp) a

Emp Ave RIPS OFF members … DUP’ed AGAIN!!! .

Dups! I have read your FAQs and they (and you and your emp ave dev-team) live in some fantasyland – they do NOT reflect what really is happening on EA! your shareprice FAKES ..er.. FAQs state that: “ price is then increased or decreased by “Market Makers”, mathematical algorithms that analyze your Shares Outstanding, as well as your online activity on your Top 5 Social Networks .” How do I increase my Share Price Your virtual stock price is determined by other users buying and selling

A bat flower– from The Goth Garden Guide on The Everyday Goth blog. Goth saved me.    When I first contemplated today’s words I had assumed I would have to begin by associating bats with the phrase ‘bats in the belfry’.   I was less than thrilled,  trying to figure out if that rather old-fashioned phrase should be construed as meaning stone, cold crazy or just a bit batty. via Bat Flower Moon .

Did you know that you can create a toolbar for your website / blog that includes all of your own content and most visited sites? I didn’t but my husband did so when I told him I was spending a lot of time logging-in to my DES blogs, facebook, twitter and other social media accounts and finding the websites I visit on a daily basis, he kindly said to me “no worries, leave it with me and I’ll sort something out for you”. via Free DES Awareness Toolbar .

My friend Wayne Hurlbert recently posted a link to this article,  which speculates that readers may temporarily see lower eBook prices after a judge ruled against Apple and a consortium of big publishers in a suit alleging unfair price fixing by eBook behemoth Amazon.com … via Welcome To The Gulag .
