Quite a few of us, no doubt, had a good old laugh three weeks ago when Real Madrid were beaten 2-1 by Getafe. Tomorrow evening (Saturday, kick off 8 pm) it is Barça’s turn to enter the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, and despite losing 1-0 on our most recent visit last November we will be looking for victory to maintain our 100% start to La Liga 2012/13 and our five point advantage over Madrid. via Preview: Getafe vs FC Barcelona (game 4 2012/13) .

I have to admit that on first thought I found it hard to contemplate a stoic nostalgia.   The very essence of stoicism,  soldiering on and refusing to show pain even when it hurts like hell seems to me almost the antithesis of a bright nostalgia,  taking real joy in remembering things as they used to be.    My thinking of course can be as mercurial as anyone’s.    And when I thought about it … via Mercurial Stoic Nostalgia .

Impotent Avenue’s planned outage on Aug 11th was another FAIL by (e)dups et al! This site shutdown of the game STOLE another 1.30e’s from my shareprice!! While the new pie level is long awaited, the 10% surcharge on “all purchases over 500 shares” flies in the face of having purchased the previous slices of pie!!! EA – get a freakin’ clue and quit cheating your player/members!
