Pitch Black
I was on the kitchen around 10 P.M. and just placed a teaspoon of instant coffee in my mug. I was about to pour some hot water then suddenly everything around me went black! The power went out and it was so dark in and out of the house.I felt like I was blind, I can barely see my hands before my eyes.
Fortunately, I can walk within the house even with eyes closed. Knowing where the matches and candles are, I started towards the living room, slowly, barely lifting my feet on each step, feeling what's in front of me with my leading foot. After a few seconds I reached the table where the matches and candles are. I using my hands, I searched for them until I found the match box. After lighting a candle stick, I went back to the kitchen to pour hot water on my coffee. With a candle stick on one hand and my mug of coffee on the other.
I sat on my bed and took a sip of my cofee... UGH! Not only the darkness is pitch black, I made a pure BLACK coffee! I forgot to put some sugar! Not my usual taste, in fact I never liked, unsweetened coffee. I felt lazy to go back to the kitchen anyway, so I drank my coffee as it was...
Then I went to sleep. :D
