Joran Vandersloot - Man accused of Killing woman in Peru
According to Peruvian laws one can bludgeon a person to death during a time of sex and have it be called a crime of 'violent emotion'. Whether or not he will be convicted of this crime is another matter. During his incarceration he has been running a candy store from his cell, having sex with women volunteers as well as having made 'sex movies' for the guards. Now going so far as to get a woman pregnant.
Ricardo Flores, the father of the murdered girl states after a hearing, "he is fatter than he was when he went in." Obviously some, if not all of the rumors are true.
He has had several attorney's who have represented him then quitting in mid-stream (or been fired). His latest court date had to be postponed until he could obtain proper counsel. Having gotten a private attorney at this point, his new attorney is saying these rumors are untrue, they are coming out to try and make his client look bad. There isn't much more that can make this guy look bad besides a video of him and a woman entering a hotel room and only him leaving. Not only that but he took her money and credit cards then escaped to Chile, where he was arrested several days later.
In the Peruvian system if convicted of this crime he will serve less than 20 years. Which means he will still be a young man when he gets out, capable of committing more and more crimes 'of passion'.
Joran Vandersloot remains a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Video recordings have been made with him admitting that 'they will never find that girl'.
At what point do the parents of these murdered girls feel vindicated? When can they sleep at night? They will spend their entire lives missing their children. Missing any and all aspects of the possiblities that could have happened. Careers, marriages, births and joys will all be something they will never experience with their daughters.
All at the hands of 1 man, who gets all the amenities of life.
One can only hope that he will feel the flames of Hell licking at his heels, soon.
I pray that the families of these murdered girls may find peace.
