My Opulent Orb,
Thank you for your letter. I, too, feel on the brink of proclamation! The other night we joked that we could call this creative collaboration a Declaration of Our Love (oh, how we laughed). Today, as we embark on this blog series, this existential adventure, I'm aware of the truth in our humour. Yes, you and I are, indeed, two peas in a pod, and getting to know you makes me feel as though I've won some sort of Cosmic lottery, but there is more...I have the sense that publicly sharing our friendship, our dialogue, our passion for art, will inspire us to new creative heights -perhaps even engaging a few kindred spirits along the way :)
In the relatively short time we've known one another, I've learned so much about my goals for my creative work. You know I admire your eloquence as a writer and talent as a photographer but, did you know that your sweet and carefree nature is my true treasure? It's like I'm nine years old, all over again, and I've just knocked on the door of the neatest girl EVER! Thanks for coming out to play, you darling thing :)
