You People
I lost track of how many times I heard you people throughout this episode. If I had some booze I'm pretty sure I'd have a nice buzz going on. Charlotte calls Kris for some help for some party for everyone except those are straight. Gee Dave do you have something to share with the class? He does seem determined to come to the party. And Kris decides to call Elliot. Well he could whip up something but no dips since that's just asking for trouble after all no one enjoys dripping something on their frocks. Well that should be interesting and Elliot was full of questions. Some people just don't know the difference so I'm thinking asking questions would be better than just assuming.. I wonder if Elliot's invited to the party after all he's going to be catering it.
I can't stress how much I can't stand Rose. Oh yes she really seemed to hate that Anita and Ravi had the nerve of being out in public. I wonder what her reaction will be if she runs into Kris. I'm thinking she won't like him at all. She certainly doesn't approve of her little brother's girl. I think Des being away from Rose actually helped a little bit since he seems to be more tolerant to people while Rose just stands there with a look of disgust on her face. Hell he even stood up for Myra when Rose was trashing her for having kids fathered by different men. I'm sure the only man she's really concerned with would be the black man Oops Jacqui mentions being in jail and she's completely honest with the woman but Rose is just horrified since she doesn't want her brother with someone like this. Just because she isn't book smart doesn't mean she's a dummy.
I'm surprised Rose agreed to eat in Relish considering the type of person she is. Of course she enjoyed it when Des started really get into boxing with Ravi who just wanted to do a little sparring. Hello the guy had an aneurysm so getting into a real fight is probably a bad idea. Having his sister around has been bad for him since he's slipping into his old ways. Even Jacqui didn't like it but Rose was fine with it until Ravi managed to nail Des. Well he got into it too. If you're fighting someone you're not just going to stand there and let the other guy hit you when he's taking things too far. Of course Des wasn't too happy about it after all he's probably horrified that someone like Ravi managed to hit him. I'm glad Ravi hit him but I doubt that it will knock some sense into him but I really doubt it especially with big sis in town reminding him of what it is like to be a wretched human being that feels like they are better than everyone else.
After pulling a Bonnie and Clyde the two little thieves decide to go on a picnic. That didn't seem to spread like wildfire like it did on Lllanview where a lot of people had the same thought on the same day. Gaz goes off to answer the call of nature and Anita walks over to Lauren. She ends up apologizing to Anita and they both want to be friends again. Come on girls you should never let a guy come between yourfriendship especially a piece of garbage like this guy. I'm sure Rose would love to take him under her wing and remind him of his bigoted ways before he ended up with a black girlfriend. Anita even invites her to go to Paris. Well it is a lot closer so it probably isn't such a big deal to go there. She invites Lauren to watch the sparring in front of Relish. Not a bad idea with hot guys boxing but Gaz doesn't like it and I notice he doesn't try to join in.
Gaz and Lauren break up which I think is good but who knows how long it will last. I think in his own warped little way he does care about her but at the same time this isn't a good relationship since he'll just bring her down. He's still angry about her fessing up to Spencer about not being pregnant. I'm sure he'll blame Anita for this. He did mention Anita putting him in a coma but he seems to have forgotten that she was defending herself since he was trying to rape her. Who wouldn't grab something and hit the guy on the head? It was just a fluke that he ended up in a coma since I'm sure that wouldn't always happen. Now Jacqui needs to do the same with Des although I think in a way being with Jacqui has helped him become more tolerant but with Rose around he's sure to lose anything he gained by being free of his sister's influence.
