Well Rae made it to her eighteenth birthday without dying. Ironically her Nan ended up having a a stroke so the plan to run off never happened. Damn I wish I hadn't missed Thursday's episode. From what I can figure out the two had planned on running off with baby Jensen. Now that wasn't a good idea but Rae had the sense to get Jack and Frankie who were about to call social services on Shelly. I didn't expect Shelly to show up again but she did and she has a job. Well Newt had to leave somehow and I'm sure that all of the people leaving aren't going to be killed off unless they have a massacre since there are about sixteen of them.

Shelly wants Newt to move to Scotland with her. I have to wonder what's going to keep her from freaking out and running off again. Newt of course wanted Rae to go with them. That isn't going to happen with her Nan having just had a stroke. She wants to stay and take care of her. I'm pretty sure she's going to need some help with that after all Ricky was in way over his head taking care of his Dad. Okay maybe I got a little misty when Newt and Rae said goodbye. On the plus side she managed to survive and turned eighteen without dying. She opened Newt's gift after midnight. It would be horribly funny if she dropped dead when she walked out of Darren's place. I mean the bad funny not the good funny.

Of course I would have loved to have seen Thursday's episode since Daren and Suzanne got caught right about to do it. Well that explains it since Nev was at the doctor because I was wondering about that. if you're going to have sex with another man it wouldn't be a good idea to do it in the living room when he's in the bedroom recovering from a fall. So it was Rhys that walked in. All I know is that Darren's jeans got tossed somewhere. I really wish I could have seen it. If I do I'll end up babbling about it. I just hate missing a day especially with British soaps since they tend to move faster than American ones where the same day could last weeks.

Rhys seemed pretty calm when he told Darren that Nev wanted to see him upstairs. I just think he enjoyed watching Darren squirm wondering if he knew about the affair. He even listened when Darren was trying to get Suzanne to continue the affair because the only mistake made was getting caught. Yeah I'm thinking your living room isn't a good place to do that. She turns him down but Rhys does tell Suzanne to tell Nev or he will. At least he told her that she should get divorced if she isn't happy instead of staying together for the kids after all they are all adults now. I think that would be a good idea. She tells him and at first it looks like he thinks she's joking. I guess it will take a while to soak in. Behold the irony after all not long before he was thanking Darren for helping out.

Aren't Tony and Gabby adorable? It might take a while for me to get used to calling her that since I'll be more inclined to call her Olivia. Well the husband shows up and I think he's Harry after all her cell phone did say Harry so I'm assuming that's his name. So now she's stuck going back home with him and Tony's the one that ends upwalking away. That seemed to be a theme in this episode. I'm just glad that Tony did that but I have to admit that I liked the sparkage between Tony and Gabby. The husband seemed like a total ass but of course he's been on for about ten seconds. Well she doesn't seem happy with him. Um dude why not blame the hit and run driverthat ran down your wife instead of going on about her not looking where she's going. Or does that not matter?

I almost feel bad for Cindy and if she wasn't such a nasty shrew I would. She asks Dom to help her out with a recommendation or whatever so Tony could adopt Holly. He's fine with that. She also wants to cook dinner for Tony since he's coming back. Wow that's just amazing that Cindy wants to cook. So she's in the middle of making dinner when he gets home. He gets right to it and asks her for a divorce. I'm just glad he's finally done it because I've never really liked these two together. I guess the con artist fell in love with her mark. Hey isn't there a rule about not doing that? So maybe there's hope for Gabby and Tony but of course she'd have to lose her husband first which might not be so easy after all she was trying to sneak off which suggests something off the bad at least potentially.
