I guess Apple Bloom should have explained herself before Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle took off finding various ways to use the school paper to get their cutie marks. Clearly the paper isn't very good for making a boat but the hats seemed to work and maybe the nest idea too but no cutie marks of course. Apple Bloom and the others were bummed when Featherweight ended up getting his cutie mark which was a feather. But the Cutie Mark Crusaders still have blank flanks.
So the ponies join the school paper and to make things even more fun it urns out that Diamond Tiara is the new editor since the previous one Namby Pamby was finished with school. I think that's a new voice for Diamond Tiara but she was bitchy as always. he wanted the paper to be great and it was once Gabby Gums showed up with her gossip column which was the three ponies. I wonder if Snips and Snails cutie marks will grow back with the fur. Is it fur or hair?
When the girls draw a blank on what to write next they decide to start making stuff up. Oh that was just wrong when Sweetie Belle stole Rarity's diary. Oh crap does this mean I'm going to start one? Must resist the temptation since I'm already behind on Twilight's. Anyhoo she was snooping in Sweetie's stuff which resulted in a horn slap from Sweetie. I think Rarity should return the favor after all her sister did steal her diary. No pony should do that.
Rarity was enjoying the paper while everyone was upset about the things being said. Twilight wasn't too crazy about Ponyville when she first showed up but she said everypony was crazy. No pony was safe from Gabby Gums not even Applejack who didn't like what was said about her so she refused to talk to her sister. Wow she wasn't speaking and Big Mac was doing all the talking which is kind of strange since he usually just says yep and nope unless he's under a spell. But when Rarity was targeted she got pissed off.
Diamond Tiara's a bitch but she's also smart. She had Featherweight take pictures of the girls so she could blackmail them when they refused to do the column anymore. Yep I'm sure Sweetie Belle wouldn't like that picture of her getting out when Rarity got inspired and used her as a dummy. The girls wrote a letter to everypony and luckily Diamond Tiara didn't bother to read the column assuming it was more of what she wanted. Everypony was reading the Foal Free Press. Diamond Tiara's no longer the editor. Featherweight has been promoted to that position and Inky Butt was promoted to photographer.
I'm just not sure if being a party animal is Pinkie's biggest issue. She might want to lay off the sugar a bit since she can be a bit annoying at times. She doesn't really cry all that much so unless I'm mistaken I think this might have been the first time she actually cried. I guess being called a party animal really hurt.
