Hearts And Hooves
I wonder if they have another way to make glue in Ponyville. Tis the season to break out the glue and glitter since today is Hooves And Hearts Day. Applebloom and her fellow crusaders make a card for Cherillee. I think I spelled it right. They get bummed when they find out that Cherilee doesn't have a special somepony. Damn that card was huge. I'm surprised they were able to carry it all the way to school and managed to get it through the door.
The girls decide to look for a special somepony for their teacher. They decide that Big Mac will do nicely. Oh sure that's good. The guy says two words which could be a good thing. When the first place backfires the ponies resort to a potion that Twilight tells them about. Applebloom seems to forget what happened last time she decided to whip up a potion.
The girls borrow the book from Twilight and go off to make the love potion. But this isn't exactly a love potion. It is a love poison. So they give Big Mac and Cherilee the potion under the guise of it being punch that they wanted the two to try since they wanted to open a punch stand I guess. The potion works and the two can't keep their eyes off of each other.
Next comes major weirdness when Cherillee starts calling Big Mac so crazy pet names and even crazier he speaks. Yes Big Mac talked in this episode. He used words and I'm not talking the typical yep and nope. When the girls find out about the potion being a poison Applebloom flips out but no worries there's an antidote. Oh sure keeping these two lovesick ponies away from each other for an hour should be a piece of cake.
They bring out the big guns when marriage is suggested. Big Mac and Cherillee are all for that so they go their separte ways so he can buy a ring and she can get a dress. I'm wondering why she just had a veil. But these two just wanted to see each other again. Applebloom tried everything she could think of. All she proved was that her brother's pretty damn strong. He even bounced off with a building tied to him.
Luckily the girls dug a hole which he fell in. Cherille was desperate to see her special somepony so she broke out of the boutique and the girls made sure they couldn't see each other until the hour was up. Cherilee was determined so she ended up knocking the ponies aside and landed in the hole herself which is about the time when she realized that something was just strange. Yes Cherilee you're in a hole with Big Mac and you're wearing a wedding veil.
So everything goes back to normal and Cherilee suggests that the girls do all of Big Mac's chores. They decide to go off for a picnic but not before calling each other goofy names which freaks the girls out. Okay that was a little mean but you can't blame them after the wacky day they had. I wonder who will have to fix the door at the Cake's place since Cherilee did burst through the door without opening it. I guess Pinkie was off eating lots and lots of sugar. I would think Hearts And Hooves Day would be a holiday she's totally in love with.
