Family Appreciation Day
Granny Smith cracks me up even though it isn't always easy to figure out what she's saying. I thought she was saying something about crab apples instead of zap apples. She was up in the middle of the night since the zap apples were about to show up. I guess these apples don't show up all the time and they are rainbow colored. I'm just not sure how I'd feel about eating something that looks like a rainbow not that I don't like rainbows.Sure Granny Smith is kooky but she's a cool kind of kooky. Apple Bloom wasn't too thrilled about the idea of Granny Smith coming to her class. It certainly didn't help that Diamond Tiara and the other one were being total bitches as usual. Hee Diamond Tiara's dad's name is Filthy Rich. It was funny when Granny kept calling him Filthy when he prefers to be called Rich.So Apple Bloom tries to find a way to get out of Family Appreciation Day. But nothing works. As a last resort she had Scootaloo give her a telegram for some family member whose name I can't think of right now. But the relative was on the train so she's able to go to Apple Bloom's school which thrills her to pieces. But she ends up realizing that Granny Smith is a pretty cool old lady even if she is a bit kooky.Granny Smith told the class how she came to Canterlot before there was even a Ponyville. Wow they really need to get beauty tips from Celestia since she never really changes. Granny Smith found a zap apple tree and picked one. She ran into the timber wolves but she was able to scare them away by banging. She explained all the weird things she did because the zap apples happen to be odd. Maybe it has something to do with them being magical so that's why Granny Smith painted pink polka dots on the walls and talked to the glass jars while wearing a pot on her head.When Diamond Tiara called Granny Smith a kooky old lady Apple Bloom stood up to her and told her that Granny Smith was very special. I really love Granny Smith. So everyone ended up joining in while Granny Smith sang to the water. I'm not sure why she had to sing the ABC song but she did while dressed up like a bunny. Filthy Rich even forced her to join in since it was the Apple family that helped create Ponyville.http://moonlightdwelling.com
