Bringing Out The Dead
Things got a bit misty in Mystic Falls tonight and okay a little bit of that was because Stefan wasn't shirtless nearly long enough. I'm totally clueless about who is killing the people in town who are all human. Liz found one of Elena's parents weapons in the body of the coroner that used to date Meredith. The only prints were Elena's but Liz knows Elena didn't do it.
I was wondering if a ghost did it. Maybe there's one staying around. Who knows it could be some new person in town that we just don't know about. I just don't like that Ric got stabbed too. At least his ring is working. Poor Ric had to be killed by Elena so he'd come back which implies the killer could be a regular person even though it makes no sense that no one supernatural has been killed. They are all humans.
Of course residual I don't trust her as Melissa could be clouding me a little when it comes to the new girl in town. Meredith is a good suspect since she's had access to Elena's place. Whoever is doing it knows about the weapons that Ric has stashed. But it doesn't make sense that Meredith would use vampire blood to heal Caroline's dad only to kill him after.
Caroline went up to pick up Daddy Forbes but the doctor told her that he was already gone but she ends up hearing his phone. He was found in the hospital. Of course he isn't thrilled about becoming a vampire so he chooses to die instead. I'm thinking we'll never see Steven unless he comes to town wanting revenge. Of course we have no idea if he knows about vampires or not. Since the couple lived somewhere else it is possible that Daddy Forbes just wanted to have a normal life with the man he loves.
Klaus got a surprise when Elijah showed up. My what a good looking family. You gotta love a vampire family. Since Klaus is eager to get the mystery coffin back Stefan and Damon show up so they can make a bogus deal. Damon had made a deal with Elijah since he figured that he was more trustworthy than Stefan since he's been off lately. Elena asked Stefan if he was the one killing people but I don't think it's him.
The coffin was hidden away in the cave so no vampires can get to it. I just don't know if I trust Mama Bennett. She was helpful in pointing out a symbol on the book that showed that two generations needed to say the spell to unbind the lock. So finally it was revealed that Mama Original was in that coffin. I'm not sure if she's a vampire or what. She showed up to find all of her kids who were ganging up on Klaus. Well that's what he gets for burning Stefan and threatening to set him on fire if he doesn't get the coffin.
It turns out that Elijah and Klaus are a lot like Stefan and Damon. They both fell for the same girl too. It was Tatiana's blood that was used when the family was turned. Damn it would be awesome if James guest starred as Spike. I'd just love to see Damon and Spike hang out. Klaus did offer to let Elena have her own life after all her kids would mean the line continues and the doppelganger as well. Even if I hate to admit it the guy did have a point that things would be better for her if the brothers left her alone but who wants that? What girl wouldn't want two hot vampires madly in love with her? What a hard decision. No wonder Tatiana couldn't choose.
Sure Klaus can't be killed unless Mama can do that but he was outnumbered. I'm just not sure if I believe him about wanting to be a family. I do think he doesn't want to be alone but he's very quick to stake a family member. I'm sure his brothers and sister were all ready to stick him in a coffin when Mama Original showed up. But instead of killing him Mama decides to forgive her son for killing her. Yeah I think there are a few details that we need to figure out here since she looks pretty good for a dead chick. Maybe she is the one person that can kill him kinda like Caligula being the only one that could kill himself on Xena. I can't wait for next week.
