Birthday Dinner
Lucas covers his tracks by sending a text from Denise. Oh the wonder of technology that allows a woman to send a text after she's been killed. The text says I'm sorry Mum so that just makes it look like she couldn't live with the guilt of killing Owen. Damn he's just evil and poor Libby has no clue that this man murdered both of her parents. He's making that Owen sound pretty good since I really don't see him stopping at this point.
I'm sure he's getting off on people not having a clue that he's the one that killed Owen and now Denise's death will probably be ruled a suicide since he stuck her in the water. Of course he wants to do some more praying. Yeah he better pray that he doesn't get caught since he's turning into a serial killer after all this would be his third kill and who knows he might have killed that Trina whoever she is too. I'm sure he put her bracelet in Denise's purse. So much for him turning himself in when he can just murder his wife and pin it on her which solves the problem unless someone figures out what a psycho he is.
Aw Jack sends a text about not missing any more birthdays which includes this one since he showed up. Peggy had just given Ronny her gift which was a collage of pictures when Glenda announced her gift so everyone left the dinner table to go downstairs where they found Jack. He ends up proposing to Ronny. Well not really since he just mentioned setting a date for the wedding. Um aren't you supposed to ask first? Or do they not do that in England? I'm sure she'll say yes.
I guess Darren smells or at least Max seems to think so. He's been sleeping in the office but Jodie is on the hunt to get him a place. Aw how sweet she learned about soccer to impress him but that kind of got in the way when he accused her of stealing the stupid World Cup tickets. Well Minty's the moron that gave them to Daren in the first place but it looks like he's still going although I'm not sure how without the tickets. He also revealed that he knew a bit about makeup so I guess that was their strange way of making up.
Phil's being a total moron. He really should listen to Shirley after all she was on Bad Girls so she's no stranger to prison. Sure he wants to protect Ben but running isn't going to help matters. It just tells the kid that when there's trouble he should run instead of facing it. He needs to realize that Ben isn't him and that's okay. I do wonder about the diary when he claimed Louise added things to it. Could he be? Well it is a thought and I'm sure Phil would be thrilled since he flips out any time Ben seems to be sensitive about something. The kid just might surprise Phil if he stays and goes to court. The lawyer did say that it was likely he'd spend some time in juvie but that doesn't mean he will after all this is a soap and all too often people sent to prison are let out way too early. Yes Nicole Dimera I'm talking about you.
Shirley thought she got through to him but he was just lying to her. Instead of her going along with him and Ben he's going to run with Ben. Ben isn't too happy about this idea since he really cares about Shirley. Shouldn't he listen to someone that lost her kids? I do wonder what she'll do. This is really stupid of him because if he does leave with Ben he can't ever come back and I don't think he said anything about Louise. What about his daughter? I think he might need a smack to see if some sense can be knocked into him.
Well that's nice that Zainab doesn't think Denise killed Owen despite her taste in books. Yet she can't be civil when Christian shows up. He has every right to be there after all his sister works there or owns the place or something. He mentions that he wants to sell his part of the business and of course Zainab is her usual charming self. Hello dummy he just happened to run into you first so he mentioned it and he'll tell his sister when he sees her. He's not only cute he's smart since the one willing to pay the most gets his share of the business. Stop glaring Zainab your face might get stuck that way.
Syed is getting therapy I guess to ungay himself which is sad. I'm with his brother since it is sad that he doesn't want to be who he is and instead wants to be who his Mom wants him to be. Sure he might actually get over Christian but that doesn't make him ungay all of a sudden. There's going to be another guy if it isn't Christian which Zainab has to accept and hell Syed does too. She knows that there's something still there because she got all mad when Syed was talking to Christian about him opening a gym. Might I suggest you go see Ravi who just did that in Hollyoaks sweetie. So he ends up lying and says he's making progress with the therapy. Oh sure he'll be magically straight in no time.
