Baby Cakes
Since Herbie's been behaving himself I thought I'd do the babble while things are running smoothly. I was finally able to watch this latest episode. I do wonder if Mrs Cake cheated on her husband since she had twins. Pound Cake is a Pegasus and his twin sister Pumpkin Cake is a unicorn. Mr Cake had a ready explanation for it but I'm not sure if he's in denial or not. Maybe Mrs Cake pulled a Virginia with a turkey baster. The other ponies were just as confused as everyone else.
Pinkie Pie of course is too hyper. She doesn't seem to know the meaning of quiet. Come on Pinkie shut up. You don't have to always sing to ponies. So she enjoys playing with the little ones. But damn those little ones are stinky when they drop a load in their diapers. I guess there's really no way for a pony to avoid sticking a dirty diaper in their mouth since they just have the hooves which aren't great for grabbing certain things.
Pinkie ends up babysitting Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake when the Cakes have to go off for a catering job. Of course before asking Pinkie they ask every other pony in Ponyville. I can't see Rarity babysitting those two. Anyhoo Pumpkin and Pound give her a hell of a time. Pound is already flying and Pumpkin's able to use magic to fly. Damn I wish I was a unicorn so I could fly too. It would be cool to have magic.
Twilight shows up because she's sure that Pinkie will need her help. Pinkie gets mad and Twilight leaves. At least Pinkie got a workout from all that running around she did. But she did pull it off somehow. I just wonder how much trouble the twins will be when they get older. Right now they are just a month old and causing all that trouble. I guess magic comes early along with flying.
I like Pinkie but I have to admit that she can be annoying at times. Sometimes she just needs to have a timeout. It was really sweet when the twins tried to cheer her up when she was crying. They covered themselves in flour which was really cute. I would think spot remover would just give the dog spots instead of making it invisible. I think I'm thinking too much again. I think the Cakes might want to look into getting a nanny to help with those two since they are quite a handful.
