On a scale of 1 to 10
We have all heard this one before have we not? I use it all the time, in sales, and with myself at times and my reflections of life's moments.
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the very best in life and 1 being where do I run to how are you feeling right now. We often look at our moments and find ourselves in the middle. My focus is getting to the top I don't want to be just status quo.
So here is my thoughts on this what if we have a solid premise that from now on being below an 8 just is not acceptable. What if we had an action plan to get ourselves out of the 7 and under range and stay at that 8.
Staying at an eight or above
will always feel great and keep us filled with love
Ok so thats my mantra for this post. But for now lets design that list of what we can do, right when we have that feeling that we are not an eight and we are 7 or below.
Here is a quick list of 5 things we can do to get us out of that funk. In the coming days I will repost this with 5 more and my goal is to reach 200 things we can do to get us from 7 or below to 8 and above.
Here is my list for today:
#1 Smile in that mirror and do some serious self talk about what it truly feels like to be in control of your emotional state.
#2 Play on your mp3 player, ipod or computer your favorite music, not soft and mellow but loud and proud.
#3 Write some, draw some, laugh some, play with play dough some just do something that will take you out of your doll drum into a higher state of joy.
#4 Take a walk out in nature, take deep breath, inhale in through your nose and exhale out through the mouth, hold the intake for 4 and exhale for 6. Do this as you walk!
#5 Should have been number one sorry about that Pray and give thanks to God for your family and those that are around you that you love.
