A little less
Today try to talk a little less and listen a little more.
Today try to think before you talk.
Wow those two sound simple enough, huh? Right now it is easy for me, it is quiet, no t.v., no radio, no dog barking just the sound of birds. But it won't stay that way long, not for me atleast and in a couple hours I am sure your day will change as well.
I am not saying this will be easy at first. But if we try, if we take the little extra effort with these two thoughts, you will make a difference in your life for sure.
In posts many days ago I wrote about the "Six Human Needs" that Anthony Robbins speaks about in his talks and books. I give him all the credit here and they make so much sense and meaning.
One of the human needs is to feel significant. To feel wanted and important, not only to us but to feel like we make a difference.
I am sure many of us talk, just to talk to put things out there... sometimes it is pure dribble I am sure you just smiled about that.
Sometimes we complain way too much and guess what, it affects others which in turn affects us.
Instead of complaining that the rosebush is full of thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. ~Proverb
Look at the good in life, the glass is really half full my friends!
Look at the other person's point of view, I am not saying to buy in to their point of view I am just saying listen and before you bark out your thoughts think whether it, your view is worthy of the conversation.

Today try to dodge when you want to argue or complain back at someone or something. Try to listen more and talk less, see how this works for you. Lastly, when you do want to talk, think about what your trying to attain. I don't know who gave us this thought but we all know it is true.
We all have, given by God, Two eyes to see, Two ears to listen, One brain to understand and one mouth to speak. Use what we have been given in numbers first.
Listen More, Talk Less and Always look to make a difference in another's day!
