Mouth Brooder Fishes
Ever heard of any fish species that keeps eggs in mouth till they hatch ? Ever heard of fish species which keeps fry till they’re ready to eat food on their own ? No ? Then you’re not aware of fishes which are oral incubation and buccal incubation. This is true there are some fish species that can mouth brood.
Some of the fishes that can mouth brood:
- Yellowhead Jawfish
- Paradise Gourami
- Bagrid catfish
- Bangaai and Pajama Cardinal Fish
There are many other species as well which can mouth brood. I’m going to do more research on them. Keep reading this space to know more. :)
