A Money Making Guru: Someone who knows the tricks and trades of making money online. These gurus understand how to use online tools to maximize their earnings and drive traffic to their content. The Gurus don't give us fish. They teach us how to fish.

How do you get page views to your RedGage content?
Majority of my traffic comes through broadcasting tool in RedGage and through the views of my friends on the site. I visit other people’s content and rate or comment on them so it is only natural that many of them would visit me back too. I also have a Blog which publishes the RedGage RSS feeds bringing me some traffic too. Apart from that editing and modifying existing content also is helpful in bringing traffic.
Which tools on RedGage do you find the most effective for maximizing your earnings?
Broadcast and sharing to Social Networks.
Which steps do you usually take when uploading your content and promoting it within your networks?
I make sure that I have used the relevant tags or keywords for my content apart from the short description.
How long do you spend online with these efforts?
For promoting my content I spend 15 minutes to a 2 hours maximum on a daily basis.
How do you balance your time between all of the different sites you work on?
I write Articles on a couple of Sites like HubPages, Triond and Infobarrel apart from maintaining a couple of Niche Blogs. I also do an editing and proof reading work for which there is no specific time. Sometimes I would have too much work to be done and sometimes less. But this work always comes with a deadline so I always make sure that I finish it in time. My writing more or less depends on my own mood. But I try to be consistent and visible in all the sites by at least commenting on other people’s content or visiting forums when I am not publishing content. As far as my writing goes I normally do not work on any schedule unless I have a personal deadline to meet. For instance this month I aim to write 50 articles on Triond which means I need to write at least 2 articles per day. I had previously kept a target of 100 articles in HubPages in 30 days and done it too. Apart from writing I also bookmark content and answer to the numerous emails I get on a daily basis.
Do you consider yourself to be a content creator in a specific niche? If so, how did you come about figuring out what your niche was?
My niche or Topics are based on my own personal interests or passions. My personal experience is that if you are an expert on a niche or if you have a genuine interest to acquire knowledge on the subject then writing on that topic won’t be difficult at all. I have written a series of articles on Gemstones, Hindu Mantras, Astrology, Numerology, Feng Shui, Health and Weight Loss, Relationships etc because I am genuinely interested in these subjects and do not need any compulsion to write on them.
Do you take efforts to brand yourself online?
Yes, I do. As I have told you I write on a couple of sites and maintain a couple of niche blogs. Every where I write I have made efforts to write a series of articles covering the topic or niche to brand myself as an Expert. I believe that I have succeeded in my efforts too. I receive so many letters on a daily basis asking for advice on gemstones, horoscope, rudraksha beads, feng shui and even on relationships which takes too much of my time. However, I only answer the ones I think are worthy of a reply. Majority of times the information asked for would already be in the article or linked articles and many send mails without bothering to read it. Anyways, I sincerely hope that my not replying would not offend them as I have not offered free or paid consultation on any of those subjects. On all the sites I use my own photo on my profile instead of an avatar and also link to other sites I contribute content. I guess that it works too as I get fanmails from people who have already read my work elsewhere that they have read by Blog or articles and found them useful. In RedGage I find the ‘collections’ a good way of branding yourself as an expert on the subject.
Do you do anything off of the computer to promote your photos and links?
No. Whatever I do I do on the Computer. Many times I get requests from people to write on some topics. When I finish writing on the subject I send them a mail with the link to the article. I broadcast my links and photos to sites like facebook, myspace and twitter. I also promote my content on 2-3 Bookmarking sites. Apart from this I also have a Blog which auto posts my feeds of Bookmarking Sites.
What types of activities do you partake in to maintain quality and genuine relationships within the RedGage Community?
I visit other member’s pages and comment or rate their content. However, I visit the members who visit my pages more. If I like an article or picture I tweet them too. Apart from that I also write on the walls of other members. I am helpful in nature and normally do not decline anyone asking for information about the site. So far I have not used the mail facility in RedGage except for replying to mails send to me but I think that is a great feature and can enhance relationships.
What tools would you like to see on RedGage that you think would help you earn more money?
I wish that RedGage would allow its members a revenue share on Google ads. Adding Product Capsules of relevant products of Amazon with a revenue share would be a good idea too to help members earn more.
