RedGage Formula for Success

I joined RedGage about a month ago and I have to admit that I really enjoy being on here. I enjoy that there are lots of people around the world that share the same interests as I do. I also like the fact that RedGage monetizes the content and activity, this was the initial reason behind me joining RedGage. I, just like so many others, am looking to get paid for my content. I am a stay-at-home-mom and my husband works long and hard to provide for our family. I would just like to be able to help make ends meet any way possible..

At first I have to admit that I thought that if I got as many friends as possible that my chances of earning would be better. After careful observation I quickly learned that it is not the quantity of friends that you have but it is the qualityandquantity combined. You can have a thousand friends on your list but if those friends don’t contribute to your earning then what good are they, right? Well, my friend, that is a two way street; you have to give in order to receive. The saying, “it is better to give than to receive” definitely applies here.

If you are expecting to just post content and have everyone comment and rate it without giving anything in return, you are going nowhere quickly. You have to put some time and some effort into making the most out of RedGage. You have to have a strategy, a plan of execution, a formula, basically you need to have some kind of structure to your time on here in order to make the most out of it.

For example, if you plan to spend an average of about 2-3 hours on RedGage it should go a little something like this:

·        First 30 minutes: updating your status, responding to friend requests, checking and responding to comments on your content, responding to messages or posts to your profile, etc.

·        Next hour or so: viewing statuses (and commenting), viewing dashboard activity (and commenting and/or rating), interacting with your RedGage friends.

I find that it is easiest to start with notifications. You have notifications of all the comments on your content. Start by clicking there and going down to the friends who have commented, click on a friend and it will take you to their dashboard. Find something that you like or interests you and rate/comment. Then simply hit the backspace button on your keyboeard until you get back to the piece of content you started from and go to the next friend who has commented. Very easy mothod of returning the favor to those that have taken the time to stop by and rate/comment on your work! I mean that's how we help each other make money here, right?

·        Next hour or so: posting new content, entering the daily contest, etc.

Now you also have to be choosy on whom you accept for friends. There is no point in having someone take up space on your friends list if they are not going to benefit you or anyone else. When you receive your friend request always view the person’s profile and their dashboard activity. If all you see on their dashboard is “ …is now friends with” then you already know that their ultimate goal is getting the most friends. They haven’t rated any content or contributed to the RedGage community at all. Basically, they are scouting to see who is making the most on RedGage and they think that by befriending them it will benefit themselves. You don’t want this kind of friend on your list because if you are going to be contributing to their success on RedGage you would certainly expect them to do the same. After all we are all trying to make the best out of monetizing our content.

Now that you know how to effectively choose your friends you may need to do some spring cleaning (you may need to do this periodically). You may need to go through your current friends list and reevaluate who is benefiting the cause and who is just taking up space. Because if you plan to use the method that I use and go through your friends list daily, you don’t want to be wasting time on the ones who don’t bother giving time for you and your content. At least that is how I feel about it. There are lots of great people on here that are more than willing to comment and rate your content if you are only willing to the same in return. It’s the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

While I haven't proven this formula yet, I am confdent that it is one that works. If you try it, give it a few weeks and come back to comment on whether or not it has changed your success rate at all. Good Luck with making the most out of RedGage and its community.

So I came back to add what I thought I might have missed and, to my surprise, the blog had become featured and earned me $3.55!! Yeah, RedGage :) Anyhow, what I had planned to add was that when you are uploading content you want to be sure that it is quality content. The featured bonus just supports my caim to this, that is too funny. But , yeah, you want to make sure to have something to offer to the community. It can be a great photo or an informative blog, but whatever the case you want to be sure that it is something that readers and viwers want. That is all. THANKS AGAIN REDGAGE!! WOO HOO!
