... Every once in a blue moon ...ummm, well, maybe more often than that ... we'll drag a member kicking and screaming ... uhhh, scratch that! that's what they do over there in the RG Traveling Showcase RV. So ... every once in a while we will reach into the old mail bag or check the wall posts around town for questions from listeners. Now I'm just saying we will get y'all a question, there'd be no telling if'n we'll have any answers ... well, not a good answer anyways, but we promise to try and find an answer, and if'n nothing else we will just make something up!

For two weeks now you have been predicting and promoting the end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it ... well ok, anyways ... the end of "summer" !!!

Miss Lizzie, I don't know where you got your info to base your prognostication on (probably one of those out-of-date Mayan calendars where the world is suppose to end on 12/21/2012), but according to the wonderfully cheesy (and really cheap!) wire-bound flip-from-month-to-month and hang-on-the-wall-or-refrigerator kind of super-dooper extra deluxe calendar sent to me (snail-mailed with postage due) by my banking institution (I have no idea what their name is anymore after all the bank failures, acquisitions, mergers, bail-outs, sell-offs, and other assorted shenanigans and fiscal screw-ups of the past few years, it just might now be a Dollar Loan Center) but their cheapo calendar clearly states that summer does not end until late September ... the specified date being September 21st because The First Day of Autumn (Autumnal Equinox) is on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
Please note: because of my waning trust in my loan shark ..er.. loan center ..I mean - Bank! and their free (but postage due) calendar - I did google "end of summer" and then verified it with the ever-truthful and always correct wikipedia.com just to make sure everyone had the most accurate and up-to-date date for this important day in the year.
Hereby Miss Doom & Gloom ..er.. LIzzie (Beta Queen of RG), I respectively ask that you promptly amend your RG Profile Status to reflect the correct end date of summer.
We need all the summer we can get!
Plus! For many of us, even after the passing of the Autumnal Equinox and beginning of Fall, there will be many wonderful warm and colourful weeks of Indian Summer!!!
