When it Happens to YOU
I'm not exactly a tree hugger myself, but seriously, if every piece of trash on the side of the road was worth even $5, I bet we'd have the cleanest country in the world.
As for the water supply goes, I'd love ANY city dweller to come to my house for a week in the summer. What's that? You want a shower or a cup of coffee? Sure wait 4 hours while the water is being delivered to the house, pay $100 and then you can use it. And then know that if you waste water, you have to pay for more water, before you use it, for every day living. And yea I know "We pay for our water too".
But could you imagine that every time you go to turn on your tap you may not have water coming out? Or perhaps if the water came out of the tap with a bit of piss or shit left in it. Like in the Third world countries. Effectively, that is what the "tree huggers" want you to think about.
And yeah I know you all are getting wet eye here. But seriously, if everyone took the attitude of how long can I use a product before throwing it away, we'd see a big difference in the junk in the world.
I know you don't care...But you will when it happens to you.
