 Japanese Oyster Shooters These little delights are a different take on traditional oyster shooters usually made with vodka, and very much like quail egg shooters, which I adore!Delicate and oh so Japanese… I ate way too many of them. Japanese Oyster Shooters·      1 tablespoon rice vinegar ·      1 tablespoon mirin ·      1 teaspoon sake ·      1/2 teaspoon soy sauce ·      Wasabi ·      1/4 teaspoon chives or the fine green part of scallions ·      1 small oyster ·      Shot glass *****Put the oyster in the shot glass. Combine vinegar, mirin, sake and soy sauce. Pour the mix on the oyster.Add wasabi to taste.Sprinkle the onions on top.
