Washing Our Pets!
Does the dig stink or is constant to its scratching? It already means to wash or take a bath this dog or cat. Here are some suggested aspects that can be done upon washing the pet. Regular bath is very much essential from the puppy age up. At first, the dog may resist and but as the time goes by, he will be looking forward upon taking a bath.
1. Preparing the workplace for washing the dog. It’s very much important to gather all the items that are needed upon taking a bath of this dog such as the basin, towel, dog shampoo, hose, and ear cleaners. Just lay it out in order to easily get when you need it but not entirely closed to the dog because it might be kicked or splashed by the dog while resisting its bath.
2. Have an assistant upon washing the dog. It’s very much important to have a partner or some assistant in washing the dog in order to ensure the dog is properly washed.
3. Brushing the dog coat thoroughly. Washing the dog in the coat is one of the areas of inspecting the health of the dog especially to its skin and as well it allows the dog to be able to relax while washing its coat. Aside of that, it allows the pet owner to show its love towards its dog.
4. Try to find out if the scratching that been made came from allergies, skin irritation or parasites. Upon finding out what it really causes so look for medicines or some remedy for treatment of some concerns of the dog scratching after finishing its bath.
5. Make sure that you have putted shampoo upon brushing the dog coats. Just be reminded to pour a small amount of dog shampoo to the dog’s body and as well gently do the brushing from all over the body of the dog especially its sensitive parts such as the portion of the head, face, ear, and some areas of the body.
6. Make sure that the dog you got doesn’t have some allergies on products that are using for bathing such as the shampoo or soap because there are some dogs that are sensitive on it. In that case, if there’s some sensitivity in regards to your dog its time to refer it to the veterinarian in order to be given a product that is quite compatible to the dog. Indeed, regular check up to the veterinarian is very much necessary in order to ensure the health, well being and personal care for the pet dog.
7. Make sure that the dog was been rinse well with water.
8. Getting a small or big towel on it in order to wipe the dog from the water so that the dog will not be uneasy to its wet body.
9. Give a dog a treat or reward in order to motivate the dog in taking a bath or not resist to its regular washing or bathing.
