3. Comfort

The skin comes in contact with a layer that is on top and has tiny perforations that let the urine fall into the middle of the pad. In addition to this, there also is a coat that stops the urine from surfacing. Thus, the skin remains dry and comfy.

4. Safety

The pad used has to be stabilized in order to prevent leakage. This is made with the help of some adhesive strips that are located on the pad. Further on, the pad is connected to an undergarment through the strips that are placed on the lower part of the pad. In other cases, these pads come with fastening tabs on both sides that allow the wearer to fasten and refasten the tab whenever they need or feel like it. Following the same pattern, there are pads that have belts and make the wearer feel more secure with the lockage system.

Other pads used for incontinence are shaped as pull-ups. This means that the person wearing them uses them by pulling, just like normal underwear.
