Absolute Uncertainty from the Portrayal of Life Collection
Absolute UncertaintyToday is the first day of forever.
Today is the day the madness stops and your life begins. Today is the virgin parchment, aching for those first strokes of inked quill; coarse sounds invading the yet lonely dawn in perfect peace. Today is the muse dancing in the dew, whispering in your ear to do the same.
Yesterday was a time best left in the sea of the forgotten.
Yesterday was a time when chaos won and hope learned to die. Yesterday was that atrocious phantom memory of that marvelous dream so perfect in sleep that’s memory remains just out of reach in wakefulness so that you’re forced to live out all of your life waiting again for understanding of those waking flashes of it, yet knowing you never will. Yesterday is the demon who lurks in the shadow of your own heart, taking every good thing and swallowing it whole, casting it to the abyss for all of eternity.
Tomorrow is a promise of absolute uncertainty.
Tomorrow is perfect and terrible. Tomorrow is life and tomorrow is death. Tomorrow is passion and tomorrow is pain. Tomorrow is everything and nothing all wrapped into one because the story is not yet complete.
