RedGage

It's been a while since I posted my last blog on Redgage.  It's not for want of trying but things have been hectic at work and I've had little time for looking out new material for articles or for going through photos that I want to get up for you all to see.

I had a few problems over Friday the 13th would you believe!  Hackers managed to wheedle their way into my normal email address and changed my password which was really kind of them!  It meant that I couldn't use my email address for around three days until my internet service provider had sorted it all out for me.  I have other email addresses but the particular one they managed to grab hold of was the one I use for banking, receiving my work and my writing websites.  All I can say is, thank goodness they didn't actually manage to latch into my bank account or work account due to strict security questions etc!!

So, not a particularly brilliant Friday the 13th but could have been worse!

This last few days have seen a slight decrease in my workload due to my clients beginning their summer holidays so I have finally found time to get three articles up and running - two history related; one ancient Chinese and the other not quite so ancient(!) Australian.

For those of you more interested in what Adam and I have been doing in our spare time and reading about our latest "grope through the undergrowth" expedition then, as per usual, just google Spixworth Sentinel and get up to date with local events.  I may not lead a particularly exciting life and it certainly isn't in the fast lane out here in our little village of Spixworth, nonetheless we do have our moments!!!   Do hope you'll read it and that it raises the odd smile or two.

As work is at a minimum at the moment, I'm now about to promote my more recent articles through Google, Bing etc etc so that the whole world can read them and then, time permitting I'm going to try and get another article on the go.  I've noticed that my list of things to research and write up goes back to mid April!!  I just wish I could take up writing full time, but unfortunately I can't make enough money at it to give up the tedium of a day job!!
