The Ondo concept phone features a unique form factor, enabling quick recording and editing of tracks, on the go. The market group planned for the "Ondo" would be music enthusiasts or producers. Although a mobile recording interface such as the Ondo concept may be useful at times, the sonic range of the microphones is limited. The tactile feel when editing music could be the best feature of this product. However, it's not. The most important feature of this phone, and in fact the whole concept, is being able to unclip three separate microphones, each streaming to the host device. Integrated into each mic is an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display, which allows the monitoring of sound levels in real time, a very useful feature for precise artists.
The screens also feature touch controls, allowing quick mixing of freshly recorded tracks. Then a simple upload to your DAW of choice, add some additions and you're ready for export. Also, the whole body of the Ondo concept has an assignable flex parameter, providing another layer to the tactile nature of this phone.
