It is the year 2010 and the economy is still diving and folks are finding it very hard to stay in the middle class zone. Losing careers, losing homes, cutting corners, cutting coupons and getting the most from your dollar is more challenging than ever. Folks are using their savings accounts to make ends meat yet all they are pressured to do is clean their bank accounts dry which often takes away from their cushion.

Folks are afraid, anxious and questioning how much longer they can make ends meat before they need to move or worse foreclose on their home. Folks are in debt way above their head and just don't see a way out from under. It's a stressful time for all. No blue skies ahead.

The title New Beginning In A Bad Economy fits this content well. I am creating this article to better secure my financial future. I simply refuse to let the bad economy hurt me. I will not sit around waiting to see what happens next. I will instead make a plan, put to practice my strategy to better secure my financial standing.

Mr. Sanders began his enterprise in the most difficult of times. He named it Sanders Court & Cafe but we all know it as Kentucky Fried Chicken.

One of the largest most successful franchises in the world started in one of histories toughest economic times known as the depression. Mr. Sanders took a negative and made it into a positive.

I felt it would be an motivation to me and many of you that you can make a new beginning in the most difficult of times. You can either sit around, turn into a victim, whine or you can seek out a way to make your life much better. It's up to you.

I made a decision to take the bull by the horns. I refuse to sit idly by watching the economy deteriorate and continue to watch folks lose everything they have worked for. I can not let the economy hurt me. I also won't return to working two jobs which require between fifty to sixty hours each week to make ends meat and with any luck save a bit of money for my future. I'm here to make it better.

I've decided I will only work one job, take a cut in pay and strive at the opportunity I have to better my financial standing and that's what I have decided to do.
