Review: Canon PowerShot A1100IS 12.1 MP
The Canon PowerShot A1100IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Silver) is one of the camera I use.
A few years ago I lend my camera to a friend who was visiting Paris. She
forgot hers in Canada. After the usual and well repeated warning about
the very subtle and fast Parisian pick pockets, I let let go. She had
my camera less than 2 days before someone stole it from her! This
"old" digital camera was a 5 mega pixel, when I bought it it was one
of the top camera in the market.
I was not that upset tho, because after checking amazon, my husband
spotted a nice deal for a new (and much better) one. She paid for the
replacement (we agreed on the value of the lost one) and I added some
pocket money and got a new 12.1 MP Canon Powershot A1100IS.
Buy the silver one, they are cheaper than the fancy colored ones
(pink or green=) unless you really really cannot live without a pink
camera! It is lightweight, very compact so it follows me on all my trek
easily. The LCD screen is large (2.5-inch).
The main reason I love this camera is that I am a Zazzle seller, and
the quality of the pics allow me do make the "zazzle huge poster" with
these pictures. The quality is good enough to be turn into 35 x 47
inches prints.
