New Year Eve’s in Las Vegas- the mere thought of it makes me go crazy with the anticipation at the prospects. The finest drinking, dining and dancing in the Entertainment Capital of the World with your closest friends and celebrities is worth every bit of. But the key to making New Year’s Eve successful in Vegas is to plan ahead. Once you’re down the streets of Vegas, of course, you don’t want any surprises. So if you are choosing to join the masses in this Sin city, be prepared to rock your eve like never before.
Race against the clock
As it is said that good things come to those who wait but Vegas NYE room rates are certainly not one of them. Find a hotel that is convenient for your plans during the evening. Several resorts require guests to check in December, 30 with two night minimum. However, if you are planning to only spend December, 31 in the town, you may find a few other resorts that can accommodate guests checking in on New Year’s Eve. The best alternative could be, if you own a timeshare in Vegas. Half of your worries regarding accommodation and food gets immediate solution.
Location is a primary concern when we’re taking about hotels. When I planned my Las Vegas trip on NYE last year, I ensured that the clubs we were celebrating our evening and the hotels we were staying at were close by. Remember, entire road including barricades in hotel entrance is closed down on New Year and you have to do a lot of walking around until you get an entrance that will give you access to your hotel.
No traffic after 6.00 pm
Do not be surprised if you see no cabs, no buses and nothing. The only form of transportation in Vegas on NYE is the Las Vegas Monorail. You might face difficulty getting down the train, because of metal barricade all across the street. Again all the escalators to bridges that cross the streets are also closed and the only access is on the street level and from certain intersection. So make your hotel and party arrangements accordingly. However, if you’re planning to party on the street and do not mind walking, then you have nothing worry about.
The finest food to fuel
Do not fear! The city have countless mouthwatering food to offer. If you are actually looking for exceptional meal or unparalleled dining experience, you must definitely try Jean-George Vongerichten's Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio, or Julian Serrano's Picasso. You should never miss the tender Steak, Seafood, Rossini and Lobster, the Riserva Steak, Consome loco and cochinita pibil tacos, Soup dumplings,Melrose Shrimp,Vegan donuts and many more to add. Many restaurants offer special NYE fixe menus and make diner indulge in their extravagant menus that features myriad delectable dishes. This super culinary experience is worth celebrating.

It’s Vegas- the craziest NYE around. There are innumerable celebration spots, firework shows lighting up the skies, casino parties, and International DJs hosting thrilling events at the world’s famous nightclubs. The lounges and pubs gives you endless options to enjoy their open bar services for the entire night and their terrace to witness the stunning views of the happenings in Las Vegas streets. Vegas promises you a night filled with outrageously sensuous and over-the-top Vaudeville-inspired performances for its NYE invitees.
Do not get carried away with your dance, wine and music only. Take a look at the fireworks that light up the sky along the street at midnight. From the vantage point of the Strip to Fremont Street and a few scenic vistas along the way, the colors and manifestation of the firework is breathtaking. No matter whether you enjoy tapping your feet to your favourite tunes or prefer a romantic view over dinner or rooftop, you must not miss the fireworks cascade over the dazzling lights of Las Vegas.
