Hosta Hillbilly Blues
Hosta Hillbilly Blues as the name would suggest is a blue Hosta. This cross between Hosta Hadspen Blue and Hosta Kikutii is a small plant that will grow to 10 inches tall by 15 inches wide. The leaves are 6 inches long by 4 inches wide.
This plant is a blue green color and loses the corrugation of many Hosta Sieboldiana varieties and replaces that feature with deep and prominent veins. This mounding perennials ovate leaves form a tight mound of foliage.
The late blooming lavender flowers come about mid August which is about a month after most other Sieboldianas bloom.

Hosta Aristocrat is a small variegated blue and cream Hosta that has slightly corrugated and somewhat folded leaves. This is a very attractive plant for the shade garden.
Hosta Kabuki is another small Hosta that needs to be planted in the shade. This blue/green plant has cream margins and streaks on the leaves.
Hosta Sieboldiana Frances Williams is a large blue Hosta with thick white margins. A popular shade plant that burns if given too much sunlight.
Hosta Sieboldiana Elegans is the parent plant of Frances Williams. It is another large plant that requires as much shade as your garden can provide. A great old favorite blue Hosta.
