The children weren't happy playing inside anymore and they had nothing to do outside. Too much snow and slush for the swings and the sandbox out back or even for a bicycle ride. Staying inside wasn't going to suffice. They were completely bored playing indoors and they were itching to get outside and do something.
So the hubster and I decided we could use a nice walk...and drove the children up to the middle school to let them walk with us. Surely, a walk would do them some good!
Except, they ran. We were no sooner on the track and they were off trying to see how many times they could over take us on the track. They maybe ran three or four laps before they decided to walk two more with us slow poke parents!!
You have to love the process of shedding winter!
