Best thing in life may be standing right in front of you

As I learned in life of all the experiences and trials I had to over come had me blinded for so long where I blocked out to see my blessings. An old song that goes back decades ago that was sang from many artiest who sang this song. The title of the song: Count your blessings, name them one by one. It is old popular song that had one time sang in many churches. People today, as well in my own life are so wrapped up in the fast pace of what is happening in our world today, money and busy schedules, making it rich, popularity, peer pressure, so on. The list can go on and on. When a tragic comes into people's life, they are not well equip mentally or emotionally to handle it well.

As an example: There are no families anymore. Families are being torn apart by the sins of men. A few year's back, I received the news of my sister being hospitalized. Before that time I received that phone call, an argument and disagreement that my sister I had a few times came in between us from having a sister relationship. The day came, my Aunt called my home, to pass the news on that my middle sister Peggy Lee was transport to the hospital by ambulance. At first, I think it was a emergency to where just get into my car and drive the hour and half away to go visit her in the hospital. A few minutes after I hung up the phone with my Aunt, another phone call came in and it happen to be the younger sibling to give me the same news my Aunt passed on to me. I thought to myself, "Wow! it has to be serious. Not able to leave to drive to the hospital right away for I had to wait until the next day to travel to the hospital to see for myself, how bad the news was about my sister. When I arrived to the hospital, I walked to the front desk to ask for the information, What room she was in? The receptionist directed us to the elevator to take that would lead up to her floor sister was on, stopped at the nurses station, the nurse directed me to her room. First step toward walking into her room, I was barely all the way in: all I saw my sister Peggy Lee from the door way hooked up to machines, the trek down her throat. Seeing that I knew it was serious. I had a panic attack and thank God I had my inhaler with me because I had to take two puffs for I could not breathe from the shock f what I had just witness. Spoke to her caring doctor and he explained to my husband and I of my sister's critically illness. Doctor told us her diagnoses: My sister Peggy Lee was dying, I ask from What? doctor answered my question, in a rudely manner. You're sister has Squamous Cell Cancer and the cancer has spread terminally through her body. Hearing that news coming from the doctor's own mouth, It paralyzed me. I could not believe what I was hearing. Point of this story is what I have learned through the loss of my sister was-I left unfinished business with her and left all those year's passed by and not had one though of calling her or her calling me to patch things up. Here I only had four months the doctor gave her to live to squeeze in making memories that we could of made before her passing. We both bull headed, stubbord to make ammends with each other. Here in front of my eyes, I now had to watch my sister fight this cancer and slowly watch her die that I was aware now that the cancer would gradually take her life. After her death, I felt so much guilt. I cried for four month and her death hit me hard as a ton of bricks.

We forget to count our blessings and are blinded to see the beauty and the love around us. Children are effected by being left home raising themselves or being raised by strangers, babysitter's or grandparents and understand we have to work to make a living but what do forget our work don't have to run our lives. We turn away people who tries to become our friends, or wants to help other's in time of need and because of mankind's persepect in life and goals, we are binded to see the beauty, the kindness, friendship, love that is right before our eyes. Doctor goes to medical school to become a doctor because he has chose that profession to learn about medicine and to help people but when he fills a doctor fills his life of reaching his goals and dreams-he forgets of the people and his patiance who helped him or her to get there. Doctor's forget the ethical code they are sworn to live by. Don't get me wrong there are many good doctor's but there are many doctor's who just forget they are human and their patiance pays the consequences of their actions. My sister Peggy Lee doctor was very cold and heartless. I even made a few doctor in my path who were very rude, unhuman and careless.

A life is a life no matter how another person looks at that life. People would look in another human's soul they may think differntly. It is totally different when helping someone and enabling someone. Did you ever have someone who cam ein your pathway that may have touched you're life in some way and you pushed them away? Be slow to judge because the blessing may be standing right in front of you. As the song goes as I describe above: Count your blessings and name them one by one, Remember God blesses us so we are able to bless other's down the road. Another song: I thought was very inspiring and encouraging, it is another old song, WHAT THE WOLRD NEEDS NOW IS LOVE, SWEET LOVE! Spreading love to other's and being kind goes further than breaking someone down-reach out your hand and grab on to someone who may need encouraging or a lift today, never know the tables may turn, where you are the one that may be the one who needs a friends. Best friend we all can count on would be Jesus: "What a friend we have in Jesus!

Have a lovely blessed day! Smile Jesus loves you, I love you too in the name of Jesus love.
