HUMAN VALUES
THE SEARCH FOR INNER PEACE.
To get inner peace, you first need to get peace of mind.
You need to have peace in your thoughts.
Your thoughts should not keep betraying you.
Your thoughts should not become negative.
If you have negative thoughts, these will keep coming to your mind.
And there will be no place for positive thoughts.
Your thoughts will not be productive.
This means you will not have peace in your thoughts.
For your mind to be at peace, you also need to be morally strong.
If someone is morally weak, he gets easily carried away by his emotions and he breaks down easily.
He thinks he will not succeed.
He does not believe in himself.
Even before he starts any action, he is already thinking of failure.
Moral strength will bring mental strength and this in turn will bring peace of mind.
You need peace in your conscience.
You must have no remorse in your conscience. But if you have erred, you are bound to have remorse of conscience.
If you have peace of mind, peace in your thoughts and a peaceful conscience, it means you are a positive person.
You must pave a good path to walk upon.
If you walk on a good path you are bound to have peace in your conscience.
But if you are always reproaching yourself for something you have done, how will you have peace in your conscience?
If you are conscious of all the mistakes you have done;
If you realize that you have not acted properly;
If you discover that you have not done what was needed to be done;
If you realize that what you did was not positive;
Then you are bound to have remorse of conscience.
This means that your mind will never be at peace.
To have inner peace you need to have peace of mind and you need to have a peaceful conscience.
With peace of mind and a peaceful conscience you will get peace in your subconscious mind.
And with peace in your subconscious mind you will get inner peace.
You will not get inner peace unless you have peace of mind, peace in your conscience, moral peace and peace in your subconscious.
And once you get inner peace, it will not be difficult for you to enter into pure consciousness.
Then you will get peace everywhere you are.
If you don’t have peace in yourself how will you find peace outside?
Many things will irritate you and you will not find peace anywhere.
But when you have inner peace, the bird singing on the tree will not irritate you.
The barking dog will not bother you.
You will see peace wherever you go.
And you will be able to make peace.
You will find it easy to bring peace wherever you go.
And when you have inner peace, you will be able to appreciate all animations in nature.
