HUMAN VALUES

ANALYSE WELL WHAT YOU HEAR BEFORE YOU TALK.

When you say something it must be correct and logical.

Never talk for the sake of sensation, just to please people or because you have to say something.

Remember that there will always be someone who will pass a judgment on you.

Everyone will try to judge you in their own way.

If you have heard something and you start disseminating the information, before thinking and without checking its veracity;

If you are doing it for sensation without realizing that the other person does not deserve it;

Then you will surely lose your credibility.

If you don’t think well, how will you be in a position to know whether or not you should disseminate a piece of information?

You are informed that a relative of yours got together with a mother of two children, less than a month after his wife died.

And without thinking any further, you transmit the message to others.

In the same manner this gets relayed to all your other relatives until everyone starts talking about how reprehensible that person is.

But the truth is something else.

The mother of that person could not bear seeing her son in a lonely state.

She had, a few weeks after the death of her daughter in law, arranged a meeting between a colleague of hers and her son.

Her intention was to see whether they could settle together in future.

And they had, thereafter, met a few times.

The colleague was a very nice lady but was having some difficulty in supporting her two young children after the death of her husband, a few years ago.

And now you can see the damage you have caused because you did not check the veracity of the information before passing it around.

Therefore take some time to think, analyze and reflect on anything you hear.

Ask yourself whether it is really necessary for you to know the problems of others.

What benefits will you reap by divulging other people’s problems?

Is it proper to talk about the problems of others in society?

Are all these really necessary?

Is it necessary to transmit what you hear the moment you hear it?

When you hear something, it’s for you to think, analyze and then decide whether you should propagate it or not.

You may not realize that people may also be talking about you in the same way.

They may be saying something good or bad.

But people will always interpret what they hear in their own way.

They change the words, the language or the intonation.

People interpret what you have not said and put words behind their thoughts.

They will adjust the topic in their own way.

And then they will start talking.

The person hearing it at the other end will again transform the words and it all ends up being a scandal.

Therefore take proper care when you hear something.

Don’t talk nonsense.

Think well, investigate properly and then talk.

And when you talk, know how to place your words.
