Radiators are no longer just the functional boring white panels in your sitting room, bedroom and wherever else in the home. When redecorating your home whether it is a complete makeover of the whole house or just one room you should always do it in the months when the central heating is not switched on.This means you will be able to isolate the radiators in the room or rooms you are decorating and detach them from the wall.This is the only way to properly decorate especially if wall papering is part of the job. Just recently there was an article on hot air balloons and the extraordinary shapes they are made into. Most are designed to advertise a product and may be in the shape of a bottle, a shoe or even a formula 1 racing car!This is not to say new radiators should be in any of those shapes although the principal is the same with hot air as it is with hot water and in fact there is no reason why not.Some are like works of modern art and instead of hiding that old radiator behind the sofa you may want to give the new radiator a prominent showing.
