Intro to The Mystic Reality
Mystics, in the traditional sense of the word, are Self-Realized souls who continue to work on the planet. Leaving the planet is an option with Self-Realization. Not all beings leave, some stay to carry out work by prior agreement.
The Mystic Reality is not an aspect of the human ego or psyche. The Mystic Reality is the connection to the higher Self, the Absolute Awareness of Creation. Silence is the sound of the Mystic Reality; even against a backdrop of noise, the mystic identifies with this inner silence.This inner silence is where knowingness arises; knowledge does not come from the cacophony of the mind as it sorts through the intellect, but from an eternal wellspring that bubbles below the surface.
Life to the Mystic is about essence, perception no longer notices, judges and sorts through appearance, but identifies automatically with the field of energy; the Mystic notices the level of consciousness that is operating, not the details of surface dealings. Perhaps it could be said that the mystic notices the changes in the general consciousness when it rains, the average person notices that rain is wet. It is a matter of noticing essence vs appearance.
A mystic may have a trade, an art or a craft they are expert in and use to contribute to society . This is not their livelihood. The Presence of God is the livelihood.
It used to be so in society that mystics were highly misunderstood, even by church and other religious organizations. This is changing as more and more people are beginning to practice devotional nonduality - which basically means worshipping not the organizational perceptions of an avatar's work, but the Absolute reference point "God as Love".
