I grew up reading the National Geographic Magazine, and loved the made for television specials they aired. So, when Missy and I found Vampire Forensics, I was surprised to read that it was based on one of those National Geographic specials.  

The book turned out to be very interesting, you can read our full review here , so of course we had to find out more. 

The following video clips feature the research techniques and theory behind the book and the full length special is more the search for the origin behind vampires.  The book is more a narrative tracing all these origins, so the two together provide a great picture of vampires.
