Lose Weight the Smart Way

I learned a long time ago that diets make you fat.  So, I've never been on one and guess what?  I'm not fat.  Anyway, there is a nice lady in my apartment building who said that she wanted to lose weight.  She said she was going on the same diet that so and so went on because so and so lost 35 pounds.  She went on to say that so and so loses weight EVERY time she goes on that diet!!  OMG people!!  If you have to do it twice, it doesn't work.  Am I the only one who gets that?  Sorry for the digression.

I offered to prepare (for a fee) food for her everyday and if she followed my instructions, she would lose weight.  So, she took me up on my offer.  We started this in May and she has lost about 25 pounds.

In case you're interested, I give her 3 types of fresh fruit everyday with yogurt or cottage cheese and flaxseed.  In a separate container I give her fresh vegetables (raw or cooked) alone or with fish, chicken or meat.  I prepare things different ways with herbs, spices, sauces, dips, etc.

The instructions are simple:  Eat a small amount from either container every two hours.   I provide enough to last 6 hours.  That way, she is never hungry and never 'stuffed'.
