Why Pentecostal strange tongues are not biblical?
At this moment we are going to see what the bible talks about strange tongues, we will then carefully relate it to what happens when Pentecostals speak in “their†strange tongues, here we go ;
1. The gift follows believers – No one should seek it Mk 16:17
2. The gift is used to preach to unbelievers – not believers. I Cor 14:22
3. Everyone must hear in own language. Acts 2:6,8
4. The tongues spoken are known languages – Acts 2:11
5. They should be from the holy spirit- Acts 2:4
6. The person praying must understand his prayer.- I Cor 14:15
7. Two or at most three should use tongues in a church worship – not all.- 27
8. There should be an interpreter.-I Cor 14:27-32
9. If there is no interpreter, keep quite.- I Cor 14:28
10. One person should speak at a time. I Cor 14:30
11. Those who don’t understand the points above are immature. I Cor 14:20
Real origin of Pentecostal tongues
In the brief study, we have carefully and with an open mind tested the Pentecostal tongues against the biblical tongues. Unfortunately we have not found any similarity between the two. Therefore, let us test them against the satanic tongues. In this case, we are going to list the characteristics of the tongues spoken in satanic movements mentioned at the beginning of this chapter.
1. First, the tongues cannot be understood.
2. Anyone can speak at any time without following order.
3. The number of speakers is not limited,
4. Listeners cannot hear in mother languages
5. There are no interpreters
6. Worshipers seek the gift
7. There is always a lot of confusion
8. Often speakers don’t understand what they speak
People who get possessed by demons later demand to know what they said, In the same way Pentecostals after praying in tongues never know what they were speaking. This shows that both types have the same origin and hence the same spirit.
Therefore, with both types of tongues on display, one type from God and another from Satan, it becomes very clear that more than a hundred years since their inception, the Pentecostal tongues have not changed much from the satanic movements they originated from.
