Recently I watched a movie on Netflix called Hungry for Change, which I would highly recommend, that talked alot about what we eat and how it can affect our bodies and overall health. One of the most important points that came across to me is the importance of juicing in my overall diet.
Because many of us spend our lifetimes abusing our bodies eating preservative laden foods and drinking sodas other sweetened drinks that contain poisons such as aspartame, our digestive systems can no longer easily digest fiber and bulk. Because our vital organs such as the heart, lungs, kidneys and liver need nutrients so desperately, there is often little left to feed our skin or hair.
Juicing will not only make you healthier on the inside, it will make you more beautiful on the outside as well. Just remember, always wash your fruits and vegetables well to eliminate pesticides, and buy organic whenever possible. White vinegar is a good, natural cleanser that will help make fruits and vegetables even healthier to eat!
